There really could be no better time to study Spanish in Peru. As the month for festivals, June is set to be full of fun and activity, especially here in Cusco – the Incan capital. The traditional festivities revolve around this city, also known as the ´Navel of the Earth´.
Our AMAUTA Spanish School in Peru is located in the heart of this fascinating city, just minutes away from the Plaza de Armas and the centre of everything. At the school we participate actively in all the festivities, of which there are plenty

We believe that total immersion in the Peruvian culture is the best way to learn Spanish, and that is why we offer a range of complimentary activities such as traditional cookery classes, salsa dancing, Spanish films and regulars talks on aspects of Peruvian culture.
June is the perfect time to come to AMAUTA if you want to truly experience Peruvian culture in full swing. The famous Inti Raymi festival is just around the corner, a remarkable ceremony that sees a brightly coloured entourage ascend to the Inca ruins of Sacsayhuamán, performing traditional rituals, dances and offerings.

June also sees the festival of Corpus Christi, a series of beautiful religious folk demonstrations in the city of Cusco, and Qoyllority, a pilgrimage to the Snow Star held high in the Andean mountains. And if you are still around in July, join us for the famous Virgen del Carmen festival in Paucartambo!

If you want to expose yourself to the true nature of Peruvian culture while studying the Spanish language then come and study with us at AMAUTA this June! You will not be disappointed!
